Edgar Wright you are a genius

Very weird but highly entertaining

I like Simon Pegg films, mainly his classic ones however this just seemed very repetitive and forced and I didn’t enjoy it as much as the rest. To me it just wasn’t as funny as his other stuff and I couldn’t really get into it or enjoy it as much as some of his other films. .

Smart, intentional and lowkey anti-fascist. What else can you ask for?? Oh, maybe a compelling story about grappling with alcoholism? WELL YA DON’T SAY! Oh yeah and it’s one of the funniest movies I’ve seen in a minute. The “There’s nothing between Gary and I” gag is top shelf.

Invasion of the Body Snatchers meets energetic story of bar-hopping, friendship, & growing up. Not as consistently funny as Hot Fuzz, but still a strong blend of dry humor & slapstick. The third act is a hit or miss, but overall the story connected with me more than SotD.

This fell short for me in the "apocalypse" trilogy, but I'd still give it a positive rating! Shaun of the dead and hot fuzz are just far superior

My least favorite of the three movies but somewhat enjoyable. Definitely the third.

7/10 preferred this over the other two from the “Cornetto” trilogy. Well casted (again), liked the plot and funny. Apart from the over played ending it was good. Worth a watch.

whata movie I love the first half where it’s basically just a drinking movie with your friends and than it takes a turn that takes you ona roller coaster ride while also still drinking with friends 🙌

There’s a special place in my heart for the Cornetto trilogy. This has the silly and funny vibes plus a sci-fi alien story.
