The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar and Three More

I enjoyed this a lot. It was a very interesting way to tell stories but it was executed very well. I liked all of them but I didn’t really understand the rat catcher.

A collection of four short stories, all told in 3rd person narration. The constant eye contact with the camera and smart dialogue makes you feel as if you’re in the story yourself. While Henry Sugar was my favorite, the others stand on their own if not a little worse. 7.5/10

Roald Dahl, one of the best writer of all time, played by Fiennes and Cumberbatch is something delicious

while I have issues with these single act stories, I think doing them in a single sitting just made the issues more prominent. after all, not only can I not sit with the characters but now I am instead forced to forget them and learn about new ones. french dispatch did it better

A super weird Wes Anderson kind of movie about 4 short stories. It’s filmled almost like a theater and it was good but kind of to much Wes Anderson.
