I was expecting a documentary about how a group of artsy kids recreated their favorite movie, but instead got a documentary about homeschooled kids with a totalitarian father who had no exposure to the world. It was more sad than fun, and was full of heart. A bittersweet film.

It was such an interesting film, I had no idea what to expect going in and coming out im still not sure exactly what I saw, but it was entertaining.

Not the best documentary i have ever seen, i mean their dad is certainly a lazy fuck up abusive drunkard, i would never speak to him if i were them as well.
The mom was an enabler who allowed her husband to mess up her kids and her life.

The kids were odd (no surprise)

I really like it. It was a sad but the way they saw things was good reminder that the world is what you want it to be

As much as everyone discussed it being so great I just was not a fan
