what a spectacle! kinda made my head hurt but it was good

:,( I miss Michael Jackson. I LOVE THIS MOVIE, SO COLORFUL AND WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I sang one of the songs in choir and didn’t even realize it, UGH WISH I WATCHED THIS SOONER

it was like someone had a weird nightmare about the wizard of oz and tried to recreate it. at no point did i know what would happen next. it felt so liminal and dreamlike!! i loved the style, the songs were good, and the big ensemble numbers were so fun and creative

This is just such a visually stunning movie. It’s eye candy. All the pretty colors and sparkles, I just love it! Micheal Jackson can sing his ass off! But we already knew that 😂

i’m so scared.

Not for me

now one of my fav musical movies. this was beautiful. the world-building and styles of art looked so good, matched by the wonderful performances of the actors, all pushed above and beyond by the incredible soundtrack. this was such a sweet and nice film to watch.

Insane production design. Young adult MJ in his prime. This movie slaps 8/10

A bit style over substance but a fair amount of substance. As for Dorothy and co, Diana Ross is a DRAG as Dorothy, just terrible. The supporting cast makes up for this because they (and their takes on the characters) are incredible. Every musical number is PHENOMENAL (minus Home)
