Weird.

Watched this for a class in college, upon rewatch it is still an interesting and sad documentary.

This movie was like watching a 2 hour long train wreck in the best way possible. The year spent with the Whites was not enough time because once the movie ended I found myself wanting to watch more. Recommended this movie but only to certain friends.

And I thought I had a trashy side of the family! WTF 6.5/10

As someone who was born and raised in West Virginia, this really shows the Whites in a new light. Most people have very bleak and skewed views of the white family while this documentary takes a middle ground stand.It doesn’t really shame them for what they are just shows them off

This was sad and funny at the same time really couldn’t believe what I was seeing and sad because when you have lack of education and resources you don’t have many choices where your life will go
