What in the Kentucky fried fuck did I just watch?

It was too close to lord of war for me. U struggled with the story.

With a great sense of humor, surprisingly good writing, and not-so-surprisingly great acting, this film delivers something worth your time. What might that be? Who knows, man, you can’t predict the wind. But if you watch this movie, I can predict a pretty good time.

Quite a depressing film overall! Some dark comedies moments which sometimes make you feel uncomfortable to laugh at! Very well acted film despite a somewhat funny attempt at an American accent from Michael Caine.

Frig I love this movie, it's a dry comedy and for me has a lot of memorable quotes that I still think of and use from time to time.

Not bad but not great. Just another Nic Cage odd ass movie. Approval from our parents go far.

Boring and sad

Strange slow and sad depressing film. Kind of enjoyed the vibe in some ways, it was weird. The like Cage but English actors in this doing bad American accents notably Caine and Holt. Really off putting.

Dark comedy at its finest

Don’t have a lot of thoughts about this one but probably a 6/10

With a great darkly comical script by Steve Conrad and great direction by Verbinski and fantastic performances notably from Cage, who does get some brilliant freak-outs, and Caine who's the heart of the movie. A funny, yet, surprisingly deep drama.
