I was 17 when I saw this. Almost 40 years later and I don’t remember it being so brutal. lol. So great.

Mr rose is the worst and I’m never getting married

I was never really interested in watching this. This was just ok, I didn’t buy how she could hate him so much. It wasn’t really funny or shocking or much of anything really. I also found the ending very disappointing. I suppose we’ll see if the remake does any better.

I miss movies like this

This film begins as a captivating love story that gradually descends into madness. Surprisingly, the entire film can be interpreted as a love story. This film was an enjoyable and an interesting take on divorce and how money isn’t everything.

Like a fun and light-hearted version of Noah Baumbach’s “Marriage Story”. Great performances and a great sense of direction from Danny DeVito. It’s not afraid to go to some far places which is great for how ridiculous the film wants to be
