Good for when you get tired of action pack movies
okay most of its scenes were filmed in studio with Green screen & vfx except for few
Facts on internet are amazing

Rating: 7.7/10

The Walk is a thrilling and awe-inspiring tribute to Philippe Petit's iconic high-wire walk between the World Trade Center towers. Director Robert Zemeckis uses 3D and visual effects to create a breathtakingly immersive experience, culminating in a climactic sequence that's one of the most tense and spectacular in recent memory.

Highlights
- Masterful Direction: Zemeckis's direction is a masterclass in cinematic vertigo, structuring the film as a thrilling heist movie that builds suspense and culminates in a jaw-dropping finale.
- Seamless Visual Effects: The visual effects are spectacular, with a flawless recreation of 1970s New York City and the Twin Towers, and a monumental technical achievement in the wire-walking sequence.
- Charming Performance: Joseph Gordon-Levitt gives a wonderfully charming and energetic performance as Philippe Petit, capturing the artist's infectious passion and dedication.

Criticisms
- Whimsical Tone: The film's tone can feel a bit twee and overly sentimental, particularly in the framing device.
- One-Dimensional Characters: The supporting characters are largely one-dimensional archetypes, lacking significant depth or development.

Verdict
The Walk is a thrilling and visually spectacular film that's an absolute must-see for its incredible climactic sequence alone. With its breathtaking visuals and visceral cinematic experience, it's a powerful example of how visual effects and 3D technology can be used to create movie magic.

Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed this film. But it wasn’t a masterpiece of a film to any extent. The CGI was sloppy, and the acting was fine they were constantly breaking the fourth wall. However the story was great. They showed all the ups and downs of Phillipe Pettit and his “rise to fame”. I’d recommend as something you just throw on the tv and not give all your attention to because it was a bit drawn out and boring at times.

5.8/10.
