An absolute gem! 'The Upside' is a heartwarming true story. Dell, an untrained parolee, becomes caregiver to a quadriplegic billionaire, forging an incredible bond. It's a beautiful tale of acceptance and friendship, packed with life lessons.The blind date,Philip selling Dell’s first attempt at painting to that very pompous neighbour for $50,000, now affording him a new home for his son and wife/girlfriend I'm smitten! Recommending it to all and planning a revisit ASAP. 'The Upside' is the epitome of a perfect movie.
Life lessons? Tons! Acceptance without judgment? Top of the list!

Great movie, literally the American version of the original...that's it, other than that, same humor type, "same actors," same story, everything, this on its own, cmon, it's Kevin Hart of course it's gonna be a good movie if you got him acting. All in all it was really enjoyable

the original was way better

Watch the original - nothing could ever come close

Walter White and The Rocks sidekick make for an incredible dynamic duo. Funny and emotional.

Just watch the French one

I liked it, has inspiring messages and funny moments, huge Kevin Hart fan, this is one of his best performances ever. Bryan Cranston is great of course. The plot is basic but it’s not poorly written.

Of course The Upside is inspired by and basically a remake of The Intouchables, but I still really enjoyed it. Chemistry with Kevin Hart and Bryan Cranston felt genuine and the movie balanced emotional moments with comedy well. Still, it doesn’t hit as hard as the original.
