The Two Jakes Reviews

I didn’t realize this was a sequel to Chinatown until a flashback scene. I wasn’t a huge fan of its predecessor, but this left even more to be desired. Its over complicated plot just had too much going on to really keep me interested. Overall an ok noir film, but not my favorite.

Despite the bad rap this one gets it wasn’t half bad. It does drag & obviously was going to be what Chinatown was but I did enjoy it.
