The Twister: Caught in the Storm

As someone who lives in Joplin and can kind of remember the tornado (I was 4 at the time) I wish they showed more of the after affects, like the clean up process, the search and rescue, and how we came together. I somehow remember being at cleanup sites with my parents.

It was a good telling from people who lived through it. I don’t say this often but I almost wish it was longer. I would have liked to hear more stories. Also I understand why the captan of the football team’s friend nicknamed him what he did cuz he is good looking!!

I expected an investigative / expository style doc but this was a testimonial style. Still, it was good. It would have been better if they’d labeled what video was from the actual event and where it was captured because it wasn’t always clear.

Testimonial style documentary with some of those who shared their stories including some real footage. I can't lie, I'm a whore for storms and would probably be the group who went to investigate. Regardless, it's mind blowing how much damage was dealt to the town and especially how the "miracle boy" story unfolded. Insane.
