The Triplets of Belleville

The nightmarish artwork speaks for itself. As a child the images, ghoulish characters drawn by satan himself, etched themselves in the back of my head causing me to lose sleep. This film has followed me around like a tormented ghost aimlessly wandering the halls of my mind.

Almost no dialogue, and yet one of the greatest animated movies I’ve ever seen. A heart-felt story of love for family and the lengths one would go for them. Quirky, fun, and just simply lovely.

great film but im absolutely traumatized
