Ich fand, dass der Film nicht so abstrakt hätte sein müssen. Es ist zwar nicht schwer zu checken, was für Metaphern benutzt werden. Aber der Anfang des Films und das Ende waren sehr Random. Kam mir vor wie eine Sammlung von verschiedenen Shots, die dann „Deep“ wirken sollten.

Malick has literally one of the best and most unique styles I've ever seen, idk what yall are on.
The first act and the ending in this were one of the best shots in history, I think I would've loved it much more if the whole movie was just like that.
The music and the way it-

a masterful epic, amazing because it doesn’t feel epic; always intimate in scope with dedicated performances and camera work that remains purposeful and intent on the overall message. often beautiful and existential while avoiding pretension; must-watch for movie lovers

one of the most gorgeous looking movies ive ever seen. im not religious but the depiction of heaven at the end was beautiful. i would honestly watch a 10+ hour long film in this style about the history of the entire world.

8/10 points off only cause the first like 30 minutes i was fallin asleep

A movie that is art and reflexión. Necessary.

Teenage me couldn't stand this movie when it came out.
Adult me suspects I completely missed what it was trying to do. Time for a rewatch. 🤔
