7.4/10 ignore the hate for this movie. It’s a wonderful sit down action movie with tasteful humor and great action. Chris Pratt is a legend as always and the movie just picks up pace over the whole movie, ending spectacularly with so many twists and triumphs. Not bad by any means

Just needed to turn my brain off this Memorial Day. Expected a fun blockbuster, but the messy plot and huge CGI battles honestly left me exhausted.

What Worked:
• J.K. Simmons is a standout. His survivalist vibe totally steals his scenes.
• The White Spikes are super creepy and gave me major video game boss vibes.
• Sam Richardson is hilarious, bringing some much-needed everyday comedy.

The Friction:
• I prefer grounded narratives, so the massive CGI completely pulled me out of the stakes.
• The snowy final act really dragged for me. It honestly felt like a different movie.
• The time-travel logic is super confusing, like they just made rules up as they went.

Verdict:
Watch for mindless background noise. Skip if you want logical sci-fi.
