Don’t pay attention to the meta critic score. This is *exquisitely* stupid, in the best way and knows exactly what it is. Want to get a recalcitrant 15 year old excited about French history? Show them this tour de force loosely based on Dumas’ legendary tales.

The 2011 film has some stylish visuals & cool action, but it’s hard to take it seriously. The over-the-top approach & heavy reliance on special effects take away from the heart of the story.

Good choreography, well acted. Plot was a little out of it

Didn’t like it as much as I was hoping I would. Funny at points, but not the best storyline

Next to the Mickey Mouse version, my fav take on the story
