A true classic of film noir and suspense. The Third Man features outstanding performances from Orson Welles, Joseph Cotten, and Alida Valli.

Throughout most of the film, you’ll hear “The Harry Lime Theme”, even in the most unexpected moments. The movie has a subtle touch of humor, but at its core, it’s a gripping mystery and drama.

One of the greatest films of all time.

I need to watch this again and see if I appreciate it more. Too distracted the first time from all my family members walking in and out all throughout.

I don't think it's aged very well, but the influence is clear. Some really well shot foot chases, but honestly didn't get interesting until Orson Welles showed up.

This has all the qualities of a great film, but man, I just couldn't get all that invested. It had me intrigued at first, but the random music that felt like a jump scare was the only thing that kept me interested lol. At least the performances were top-notch, though.

A classic to be sure but I don’t love as much as most. Great performances and a well-structured mystery that plays out well. A score that can only be described as bizarre, a complete tonal mishmash that took me out of a few moments

Classic noir with great cinematography and performance from Welles, enjoyable story as well but the music kept on taking me out of it

I saw the scores for this movie and it had a 99% on Rotten Tomatoes. But honestly, I don’t think it was anything to write home about. It was just fine and most of the time I couldn’t really follow anything they were doing. One time watch movie only.

A very interesting plot and ahead of its time in so many ways
