인생을 살면서 한 번이라도 도딘이 유지니를 사랑한 것 처럼 사랑 받을 수 있을 까

항상 자신의 위해 요리 해주던 셰프에게 자신이 요리를 해주며 프로포즈를 한다는 게 너무 로맨틱한 것 같다.

그리고 마지막에 자신이 당신의 와이프였는지 셰프였는지 묻는 유지니에게 셰프라고 대답해주던 도딘. 그녀를 그저 사랑 한 것 뿐 아니라 그녀의 실력을 인정해주고 누군가의 아내보다 훌륭한 셰프였다고 말해주는 남자라니,,

Love good food, but this really goes way too far for me (& initially a bit too slow) and yet I kept watching:
The pleasures and the burdens of life, all in one!
Worth noting the austere yet rich sounds also contribute significantly.

Benoît Magimel and Juliette Binoche are stunning, the visuals are magnificent... In short, everything in this film is nothing but delicacy and poetry ✨

Classical French film all around. At first the story seems underwhelming but there’s a lot of themes here. It’s an incredible story about love, passion, the cycle of seasons and rebirth. If you love food you will definitely like this. Not so entertaining but beautifully made

“An 11th century Chinese poet obeyed one rule his entire life. He worked one year, then devoted the entire next year to his wife. I should have followed his example.” I mean, what the fuck. This upended Phantom Thread as my most romantic movie. No music throughout was brilliant.

Masterful cinematography and visuals. Very slow, which I think requires watching when in a compatible mood.

This movie charms using the nuances and beauty of French cuisine and the tender romance between Dodin and Eugenie. It makes you feel warm and nostalgic no matter what kind of kitchen you were raised in. A nearly perfect story that serves as a new kind of comfort film!
