i read the book over 30 times as a kid, so i can confidently say this movie does the original story a huge disservice. between the terrifying animation and the altered storyline, this is NOT the kate dicamillo story i know and love.

Awesome kids film for any age. The book must have been explosive to get a movie adaptation only after 4 years (including production).
Awesome epic set in France, loved the holiday, characters, and gentlemenly heroes.
