It’s truly everything a Mario fan would want. Packed with a tons of Easter eggs and heart. It is truly worthy of the Super Mario Bros name

Genuinely so much fun. SOUNDTRACK WAS IMMACULATE. Jack Black stole the show, peach is a badass, and Chris’s Pratt was actually better then I expected. I so badly hope we get a Mario Galaxy movie and/or Luigi’s mansion and a random thought, but Kirby Movie would be cool as well.

7.0 - critic complaints are fair: the story’s lacking & easter eggs & fan service win out. Jack Black’s the only actor that feels like he cares. But discrediting this as a whole because of that is unfair. It’s bright, loud, fun, encouraging, & happy. Can’t ask for much more.

Awful plot but funny asf when your high

If you played any Mario games growing up, you’re going to love the animation and beloved characters on screen. The story is quite simple but it follows the video game lore and I wasn’t mad at it. Would watch again!

Such an fun ride. The reference to the games are all extremely fun and well put in the story. The story in itself is very fun. The animation was great but the soundtrack was incredible. Must watch

Genuinely loved this movie so much

It's fine for what it is, but is it better than Despicable Me or Minions? No. The voice casting was forgettable, apart from Jack Black. The story was generic, but I guess it held up to Super Mario content. The soundtrack was great, and so was the animation. It was filled with feel-good, loud, and bouncy colours and sounds. The humour is always there with Illumination, although it feels repetative. I want to like it but I know I'll forget this tomorrow.

Nevermind this was actually a cute movie - I did like it!

Amazing fan Service Must See,It was very fun to watch,piece of Nostalgia ,the music was the best thing in the movie and the jokes, It would be better if they continued on the original voices, and It would be better if they focused a little more on Luigi's part of the game💜8/10

A great game adaptation that goes too fast. Jack Black and Charlie Day are both standouts. The plot is substituted for Easter eggs but the Easter eggs are great, and I loved them all. Chris Pratt is okay. The animation is beautiful and I love Charles Martinez’s Cameo.

What a faithful adaptation of the games! The characters were great, most jokes hit, the animation was gorgeous, and the music was phenomenal!

I will admit you do have to be a Mario fan to truly love this movie, but if you are a casual viewer you’ll like it too! Stay for credits!
