What seems like an unassuming premise turns out to be a hypnotic and chill movie about lonely outcasts spending time with each other and becoming friends, and it kinda relaxes you. It might have something to do with how it uses silence to be this chill. It’s by no means boring…

I would put the premise and the way it’s filmed as a love but I thought the chemistry wasn’t completely there with the main characters. I wish Dinklage opened up a bit more he was kind of a closed book from start to finish.

This was my introduction to Peter Dinklage (way back when this movie came out) and I just fell in love with him, such a quality actor. The movie is simple but funny, heartwarming, and one of those movies you never forget that you love despite its simplicity.

Great performances with a simple but fun and thoughtful story, honestly wish it was a bit longer to flesh out characters more, and ended a bit suddenly

5.8/10. It’s not bad, but I find the relationship between Fin and Olivia odd. It feels like she saw her deceased son in Fin, yet was also interested in him as a romantic partner. However, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, and I wouldn’t watch it again.
