Awesome film on Zuck’s origin story. Takes a little too much liberty and glosses over his early days growing up as a lizard on alpha Centauri 8 ​​​​​​​​​

great performances from esienberg and garfield. good story that had you invested at the end. justin timberlake was good too. 7.7/10

Tremendous piece of film that somehow only manages to become MORE timely since release.

Every single element of this film is operating on the highest calibre. Every cast and crew member working to the best of their ability. It’s a rare thing to truly feel that, hence my apprehension to throw out the 5/5 rating, but when you feel it - it’s special. Sorkin’s screenplay is triumphant, hefty, and the weight of it is felt in each scene, but every word plays a part to encapsulating what makes the film so great. Probably the most jolly a Fincher movie has looked, and felt - which is kinda a woof to say being how miserable and pessimistic the film is, but that’s kinda why we love him, right?

Jesse Eisenberg is terrific, encapsulating the persona of Zuckerberg, but never feeling quite like a mimic - something Jeremy Strong seems to be leaning toward… Andrew Garfield too, excellent stuff, not quite his best work - but it’s sure up there. Always great to see Timberlake acting, he’s really, really good at it, better than his singing…

The Social Reckoning has some mighty big boots to fill, boots I don’t think it will fill - as much as I’d love to be wrong. But regardless, this film is a masterpiece and I love it. Also. Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross’s score goes hardddddddd.
