Had an intriguing noir aesthetic and a great setup, but the execution was uneven. While the mysticism and period feel were interesting, the story never fully gripped me. It’s a film with more style than substance, leaving it feeling forgettable despite its iconic source material.

When Mom says, “We have ‘Batman Begins’ at home” but it’s 10 years older and actually not bad.

Way better than I remembered.

Decent early superhero movie with a stout cast for its time. Still pretty enjoyable today.

I want to hate it cause it’s not great, but it’s the only screen presence my boy gets. It’s got a neo-noir feel, which works, but it’s a 90’s neo-noir. The radio programs are still far superior. 

We need another Shadow movie, posthaste!

Hands down of my favorite movies!!! Absolutely incredible. Great story. Perfect cast. Everything about this is just amazing. I’m a huge superhero fan of many. I watched this movie as a kid and the moment it was over. I grabbed my cowboy hat and blanket as a cape I’m the shadow 🤣😎

A childhood movie !

Guilty pleasure if there ever was one.

I liked the old radio show, and this film adaptation was fun, if a bit over-the-top.
