Wow 10/10 A+ from me. If you like Ben Stiller/Kristen Wiig/Adam Scott at all you’ll love this. This must have been ahead of its time / had horrible marketing because I can’t believe this didn’t get great reviews and sales…

My favorite movie of all time. OF ALL TIME. I watched this in the theater when it came out and changed my life forever. I have ADD and related to Walter being made fun of for spacing out. Also the best soundtrack and visuals of any movie I’ve seen. Very encouraging

There's a few things I've learnt about Ben Stiller from this movie alone. His projects tend to have deep morals rooted at the core and confusing subliminal ones spread throughout. Most of Walter's daydreaming comes from his 'comic book' childhood. The want to mean something or to have someone, it's a bittersweet feeling we can all relate to. His directing style fits the plot so well. Every shot was filmed like a perfect 'motion picture'. Every scene had explicitly beautiful visuals, whether it was in the location or cinematography. Overall a fun adventure with a top-notch cast and a great soundtrack.

such a happy little film to watch on a good day

Watched this twice in the past two days and missed the first 30 minutes both times and it was still an amazing and enjoyable movie! I laughed so hard with the bicycle scene!

This has some good moments and it makes a nice point, but it’s script is weak and it lags a lot. Stiller is good but the film goes all over the place in the second half

7/10 a little weird but it gives a good life lesson: get out there in the world, instead of wasting your life away

The right movie at the right time can completely reframe it in your mind.
Really does a great job emphasizing the power of going out there and living your life to the fullest instead of being stuck in your head. Its also got me contemplating a solo trip across Europe all of a sudden so that’s great too i guess

8/10, great message within the movie. Also had some funny scenes. I’m in general a fan of the main actor.

favorite movie

This movie literally symbolizes my disassociation, it was so engulfing, literally takes you in and wraps you up and omg when it came to the scenery that was a whole other thing, i absolutely loved it and adored it. Probably going to make my personality all about this movies for a week. Go watch it like now. Literally drop everything and go watch it, it’s better than you think, it’s absolutely spectacular
