The Sea Beast

This movie deserves a watch - it’s fantastic. Directed by the guy that did Big Hero 6, Bolt & co-directed Moana - it’s a Disney movie not made by Disney and terribly marketed by Netflix. Show it some love!!!

The Sea Beast is a fun animated adventure with great visuals and a big heart. It tells a simple but emotional story about courage, friendship, and questioning old legends. The action is exciting, and the sea creatures look amazing.

well damn! i was expecting a cute found-family "we were wrong" type of film, instead i got a whole deconstruction of a country's own history, a revolution & the downfall of the monarchy, & thank god for that! it was also very cute tho!

its something i used to watch again and i thought it was really good

The novelty of having Karl Urban in this movie was nice but I can’t say it was enough to invest me in its story. I appreciate the message of how harmful ‘truths’ can be recorded and passed down in history but all the characters and the setting were both completely forgettable.
