this is a depressing one. i’m super sad rey died; i really liked robert pattinson’s performance in this. im super curious to know how the rest of the world looks after the collapse of the west, too, but i know ill never get that answer. all for his dog… this was a good one!

A slow burn, dystopian society John Wick. This movie has a great premise, I wish the stakes were a little bit higher however the performances were phenomenal. I absolutely loved Robert Pattinson in this role. He definitely goes all out. The emotional tension that he brings really makes the movie for me. Some of the long still shots where a character is just standing or sitting and staring into space dragged the movie down a bit. The runtime isn’t bad however it feels like you’re watching a two hour movie. With a little refinement and better reason for needing this particular car (a reason that isn’t played out) this movie could be quite powerful. 6/10 recommend

John Wick in another universe. Pattinson and Pearce were phenomenal. The emotion and attention to detail in the characters was mesmerizing. Great A24 film.
