Dated, stupid, pulpy fun. It’s a throwback adventure movie from the 90s idealizing the 40s. There’s only one woman with decent screen time, and the entire cast is white, but they’re fighting Nazis. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The art deco aesthetic looks great onscreen tho.

It’s hard not to be nostalgic for a simpler time and I found quite a bit to like. Fun for all ages.

5/10 Jennifer Connely is easily the best part of this movie. She's lead character material and really should have been the rocketeer haha. Great idea but doesnt land for me. Pretty dry and nothing overly special

Cool concept poorly executed. It’s hard to enjoy the cheesiness of a film when you have a on screen relationship of a barely 18 year old and a costar 25 years older lol

A fun old-school adventure with solid 2nd half, cheery ending, & great James Horner score. VFX and aesthetic hold up well and has an interesting almost "pulp," comic book feel. Timothy Dalton was a wonderful villain, and Billy Campbell definitely deserved more iconic roles.

I know everyone and their mother gets a hard on for this movie but honestly…meh. The mobster w/“I don’t work for no 2-bit Nazi” shtick…this bitch could’ve prevented the whole thing if she’d just gone to Redlands like Cliff told her! 😡 But Billy Campbell can get it.

One of my favorite films growing up. Always wanted to be the Rocketeer.
It’s a fun comic book adaptation with all the right things. Great action. Great acting. Great score. Nazis being defeated. Jet packs. Planes. Blimps. What more could you want?
