I think almost everyone watched it for her...

The animation, the fast paced editing, the music, the bold colors and styled choices… Everything is just perfectly done.
The story itself is a rather clichéd white savior adventure, but the chemistry between the characters and the charming animation shines through nonetheless.

Tulio and Miguel are just a representation pf Me and Fournier. There is no way they knew us back then and yet here we are. Same energy, same last braincell shared amongst us. If I hadnt cut my hair this year, I would have cosplayed as Tulio. 9/10 because I wanted more

I forgot how fun this movie was 😍.

8.3 - was unsure going in because I haven’t seen this in 20 yrs. But critics are just wrong here. Rapidly paced & very humorous. Solid voice acting, decent (if forgettable) original songs, one of the more intense climax battles of my childhood, & of course a satisfying ending.

this movie was really funny and the animation was so pretty :) i really loved *almost* all the characters too, tzekel-kan and miguel are my favorite, the pacing was pretty weird though and i didn’t like the romance at all, also the songs were terrible but still a fun movie

Such an amazing tale with much diversity and cultures involved. I rank this one pretty high and it’s close to the Prince of Egypt. Dreamworks really was so different when I was younger.
