81/100 One of my favorite end of the world/post apocalypse movie. Very realistic w/ how people would actually act and how dangerous and empty the world is after. It is a bit slow and drags on in a few places but that adds to the emptiness.

Not for everyone but i did enjoy it. slow burner but a heart breaking film. i do wish they explored more of what happened but that wasnt the point of the story.

Good movie

It was so well done but seriously almost put me to sleep a few times lol not that it wasn't an engaging story, the narrative and performances were really strong. Just super slow-burn and bleak which I guess fits the vibe

But when it worked, it REALLY worked. That father-son relationship was so pure and powerful to watch. Their love and will to survive together was incredibly moving. Probably the most authentic on-screen father-son dynamic I've seen

Very good movie, kinda disturbing and made me cry so hard. Kinda depressing also. Nice cinematography and actors. The one movie I remember even though I watched it many years ago.

This movie got the tone super well and shows just how grey and dead the world really is in the story more so than I imagined while reading the book. The movie misses a lot of scenes from the book like when the boy gets to shoot the flare gun on the beach but overall is great.

This movie got me crying so much

This is a hard movie to watch. It’s incredibly bleak and just leaves you feeling a bit crap. I guess there are technically things that are done well about it, but it’s just not really enjoyable to watch.

07/10 The vast majority of the film is Viggo Mortensen and Kodi Smit-McPhee on their quest for the coast ... their ultimate goal for survival. The gray and lifeless landscape would (and does)suck the hope and soul right out of most. Viggo keeps trudging while teaching his young, more sensitive son, who by the way, is a dead ringer for Charlize (were she a 12 year old boy). The grayness of the film is so intense, that the dream/flashback sequences couldn't help but make me wonder if life were black and white, would dreams be vivid and colorful? Fans of No Country for Old Men will catch a glimpse of Garret Dillahunt as the hillbilly gang member who stumbles upon the Father and Son - Dillahunt was Tommy Lee Jones' entertaining deputy. Robert Duvall and Guy Pearce also have brief, but welcome, supporting roles. Duvall actually does quite a bit with his limited lines

Es lenta, fuerte y realista, mostrando lo bueno y lo malo que posiblemente quedaría ante el fin de lo que se conoce como la civilización.
