It doesn’t happen a lot, but it was actually better than the first if you ask me, however you should probably watch the short film rings from 2005 before watching it, but truly a great movie

Actually enjoyed this better than the first film. It felt more realistic and better pacing. Aidan needs to stop disrespecting his mom calling her Rachel but I guess it helped. Camera work is great and CGI/effects were better than the original. Ending was satisfying and I think Naomi Watts is great as the main character. Good additional exposition for Samara. Some dialogue was a bit out of place but doesn’t detract too much. Overall a great watch especially after just finishing the first.
On to the third film.

It was SO GOOD, overall the story is good, I'd probably change the ending but I like it anyway.

A good, and much needed follow up to The Ring. The story was continued and completed, and the ending was satisfying. Enjoyed both films, would recommend watching them back to back to stay engaged with the plot!

7/10 just as creepy as the first but the first is by far better

Kinda boring, honestly.

this film is not as strong as the original, but it had creepy moments and kept the eerie tone. the plot felt a little messy and less impactful. samara’s background gets more focus, which was interesting, but it lacked the same suspense and momentum. it’s still worth a watch!

Super unangenehmer Film von der Atmosphäre her. Man ist dauerhaft angespannt und die Story super spannend. Um einiges gruseliger als der erste Teil und man fühlt mit den Charakteren ziemlich mit. All time klassiker

I liked it. It was as good as the first one. But I simply don't like children in horror movies
