Pity Oscar for Leo party of one? Fantastic cinematography but very little plot. I’d rather spend 3.5 hours debating leo’s 26 year old dating cut off. ​​​​​​​​​

Get ready for Leo crawling on the ground for what feels like forever!

I mean....is there anything better than Dicaprio moaning in your ears for 2 and a half hours 🥰.

It's no wonder why heavyweight actors like DiCaprio want to work with Iñárritu. The entire cast brought their absolute to the table, not just performing on location but in brutal conditions. I can't explain the amount of authenticity, from the costumes and vfx to the landscapes and cinematography. Some scenes make me warm and safe, while others cold and alone. There's incredible depth to the (true) story, with several layers of emotion and historical interpretation. The score and symbolism create a melancholic and continuous atmosphere, although 30 mins off the runtime wouldn't hurt. If you want a raw Native American rooted gladiator story, this is the watch.

Transported to a completely different time and place with nothing to take me out of it. Which is impressive when you got bane, Leo and eyebrow boy. Well done! Not sure how much of the locations were real but it was all stunning! Crazy story!

It was really well made. Way too graphic for my taste and the horses, omg the poor horses… it’s still a really really good movie, I would highly recommend watching it. I just won’t be watching it again. 😅

I was debating watching this movie for the longest time, and boy am I glad I finally did. Outstanding performance from both Leo and Tom. Some people found the movie boring and the plot too thin, but in my opinion a straightforward plot worked really well for this. Also ->

Last time I watched this was 2015 & holy crap I forgot how gnarly the bear attack is! Very long but the scenery is breathtaking & the acting is fantastic, especially from Leo & Hardy. The fact that it’s mostly a true story is insane, Glass survives on sheer willpower & vengeance.

surprisingly poetic and incredibly intimate, leo’s face says it all without saying a single word. the camera could almost be considered the lead actor, taking us places beyond reality
