The Quiet Girl

This hit me right in the feels. It’s a beautiful film- such spectacular photography and cinematography. The cast is out of this world - starting with the main character, Cait. It’s so sweet and very moving, particularly if you have experienced any of what the characters have.

absolutely heartbreaking. this was a hard but very helpful watch for my inner child (weirdly)..

Was a quiet movie😂 But had some wholesome moments and some dark..

Plot:
When Cait is placed by her aunt & uncle in the summer, she discovers a different place of peace. The reason is hearthbreaking, she isn’t accepted by her parents and siblings.. So she has a great time, but in the end she doesn’t want to leave.

How her uncle first didn’t like her, and in the end loves her with a big hugg

One of my favorite films. The acting is wonderful. Such a quiet but powerful movie.
