The Princess Diaries is as sappy as they come, a Pygmalion story told in Pollyanna terms. But sometimes sappy works, and this is one of those times.

This was great, it was hilarious, it was awesome nothing bad to say about it…EXCEPT…MICHAEL.
Arguably the last 5 minutes were good, and I get that it was the early 2000’s, BUT JESUS CHRSIT HIS HAIR WAS NOT IT and I for the life of me can’t give this movie a ‘love’ because of that

Best movie ever!! Perfect casting!! Anne Hathaway is an absolute perfect Mia and Julie Andrews…OMG!! Icon!! So poised and elegant and just perfect!! And their chemistry together is amazing to watch on screen.

Way too long. And I would say it aged badly, actually. M&ms on a piano? M&ms on a pizza?? Got exited with the visuals and got disappointed there as well. It was a fun watch, but I’m very dissatisfied…

My 19 year old & I have watched this countless times, I’m now doing it all over again with my 10 year old. It brings me so much joy to share it with her! If you need a pick me up, I can’t recommend this movie enough! 👑

I remember very vaguely watching this movie years ago. After scrolling on Disney+ and seeing it, I decided to rewatch it! Gosh I love Anne Hathaway‼️‼️

Since I was young, princess diaries has been one of my favorite coming of age films for Disney princesses. Showing the transformation of princess Mia thermopolis as she comes out of her shell into the famous yet respectable royal lifestyle. This film really relates to me as someone who was an outcast in high school. With such a respectable cast with the wondrous Julie Andrew’s and mighty talented Anne Hathaway taking the leading roles and Hector Elizondo bringing such a delightful limelight to the screen, every moment feels like a delight to behold. I will truly never grow exhausted on such a beautiful film.
