Really good first half, when I die it fell off

I liked this movie alot but it feels like 3 different movies in 1, but still really good

Really solid movie the amount of twists/ turns is fucking wild. Cast is beyond dank. Ryan Gosling being the ultimate sigma male like he always is in dramas. The only trash performance was Bradley coopers son. Also pretty slow paced but I didn’t mind it.

A startling look at fatherhood and consequences of our actions. A truly moving and melancholic story that perfectly tugs on the heartstrings, thanks in large part to Gosling’s performance and the sweeping cinematography. Forever a favorite of mine. 10/10

an incredible film, the writing and directing is astonishing. it falls a little apart in the middle but it all connects in the end. it’s really well told in every way. u just need to pay very close attention to detail because it’s a hell of a rollercoaster.

This is a film that’s astonishing, masterful on every level; directing, plot, performances, visuals. At times, this film can also be touching as I found myself crying at some scenes between Luke and his son.

This is an unexpected yet overwhelming diamond in the rough. An emotional rollercoaster that will pit you into choosing between two evils. 10/10.

Ig 3rd act struggles and for its focus on father/son very little of that is seen, ig that’s on purpose. I feel like Jason should have ended up better even without his “real” as it seemed his parents were more present in his life. I did not expect the twist tho. 6/10

The only reason I'm not "disliking" this is because of the full circle moment, that kind of made the movie for me

I said “did that just happen?” way too many times throughout this movie. I also saw someone say this one was like 3 movies in 1 and I think that’s the perfect way to describe it.

It is a good movie if you’re aware about the story lines switching and it’s very slow. But good actors and I like the message.
