I think this is where Babygirl got their inspiration from and tried to do an imitation of it. Which failed miserably.

Really disturbing and intense movie. Isabelle Huppert is amazing, but the story is super uncomfortable and dark. Not easy to watch, but it sticks with you.

They hate to see a girl get her perv on. This was like more depressing French secretary. Lowkey wish I just rewatched secretary instead but whatever I’m a bitch for the criterion collection.

yooo this movie is fucked. very disturbing. great character development, very strange plot/subplot ig u can say. yeah, watch this one by yourself, it’s a little weird, but it was still good. very unique movie, not afraid to push boundaries. good acting. very just… i can’t explain

This movie is so human. The idea behind every part of the movie is so important. Very sophisticated and excellent acting.

I just can’t describe how much this movie affected me. I wish I was the one that wrote this script. The psychology of the characters are insane and at the same time so true. This movie will live in your mind rent free and it will make you questioning things so much

The Piano Teacher is a very relatable yet disturbing movie- the desire of craving lust that cannot be obtained and the willingness of how far you’re willing to go to experience that kind of love, creates both a great plot and execution. Overall 8/10 bc the movie is a bit rushed.👍

This is one of the most disturbingly complex movies I’ve ever seen. I can’t say it’s bad -even tho it was nauseating- but it seemed real and so deep like every little detail has a meaning. a psychological meaning even.

Normally you'd be surprised at what's in store for you, but when you know it's a French film, then you expect it. We're all a bit freaky, but Erika is on another level y'all are not prepared for. It's not as uncomfortable as I thought since it was just great to watch this film.
