The Pianist

Adrien Brody was very attractive in this movie, it distracted me a bit from the main plot. Nonetheless, very nice movie, quite shocking.

The Pianist

A completely soul-crushing experience that showcases survival during what was unquestionably one of the darkest periods in human history. Hard to watch, but also very important to see for the sake of remember history so we dont repeat it.

There are a lot of devastating scenes here, especially in the first half, with some brutal executions. Another important watch for history from the perspective of Adrien Brody's character and survival during the Holocaust. I didn't rate it higher because the second half does have pacing issues and gets a bit too slow at times.

The Pianist

Possibly one of the most masterful films in modern cinema, and I hate that I think that. It’s never been easy to separate art from artist, so I struggle deeply with this one. But the restraint, the quiet devastation, and the performance still haunt me.
