not as good as the book but still made me cry

This was one of my favorite movies so far. The characters are written really well, which is enhanced by the great acting. The soundtrack is great, and it’s tied into the plot extremely well.

It was somehow sad and just as happy at points and it will definitely make you emotional if you’re that type of person. Even through the slow parts of the movie I was completely invested in following the main character and where he would end up. Followed by the rest of the main cast and what would become of them. Even the side character relationships were very well done.

There was definitely some parts that were hard to watch due to second hand embarrassment but you just gotta get past them. I could watch this movie again 100 times and I definitely see myself doing so.

I had held off from watching this for quite a while as I didn’t think it would interest me, but a friend recommended it to me and I’m glad I watched it in the end. So if you’ve ever considered watching, but decided not to, this is your sign.

Personally I would give this a 10/10.

Will probably never watch this again.😭

i love this movie so much, its my favorite film ever, and the book is even better. i really relate to charlie, and so in a way this movie shows me that im not alone. this movie holds a very special place in my heart, and i really do recommend it

Tries too hard to be something.

I knew I had to rewatch this gem again before I graduate.
probably my second favourite coming of age movie. Hits differently now at 17.
God I relate to it on a different level (unfortunately). Top tier soundtrack.

i’ll never be the same person again.
