What the hell was the ending?? Wow, such an interesting but also disturbing movie. Very beautiful painting aesthetics, good job! Also, I was speechless for the last scenes.

a wonderful adaptation of the outstanding nobel novel. all elements are shown very realistically, in an extremely interesting and unusual way: in the form of paintings inspired by 19th/20th century art. a must-see for everyone, really

Beautifully looking, yet because it's a book adaptation, of a very boring and overrated book, it's also very boring and the plot itself is horrible and outdated. But I love the fact that it's painted.

It’s great that in an age of generative AI this project is still able to be made. Though unlike the Van Gogh one I do not see the point of the oil painting roto-mation in this one. Also the horrifying rape-filled misogynistic tragedy reaaally is unbearable. HARD TRIGGER WARNING.
