i watched this a while ago and don’t be deterred by the length it is actually engaging. heath ledger was amazing and there were so many tears shed like immediately. 7.8/10

Good action drama movie I would watch again

Happy 4th of July & a merry yee haw! Great heart & cinematography to this movie. Absolutely shows the strength & spirit of American colonists fighting for independence, even if historical liberties were taken (especially w/the main villain but it adds drama ig).+Mel’s acting was🔥

Pretty good, watched the directors cut and idk it was long but it did keep my attention

I loved loved this movie. I don’t usually enjoy war movies or ever even found interest in American history. But this changed it all for me. Although I know this isn’t historically accurate, it instilled in me a sense of pride in our great nation and thous sparked an interest in learning more about the American Revolution.

The movie itself is just good. Great. Keeps you interested in the plot throughout its entirety. You come to care for the characters. Just pure enjoyment watching this goodie. 🤗🤗🤗

Beautifully shot, beautiful scored by John Williams. The performances are solid. I think it could be streamlined a little bit, and I wish it explored its themes slightly deeper. Overall a very solid watch. 8/10
