Bale delivers as always. He continues to cement himself as an all time great. The actor that portrays Poe was also very good. Interesting story and took an unexpected twist at the end. Would recommend. Re-watchability might not be too high however

- Nah Poe was tweaking for trying to save Leah after he literally tried to kill him
- I don’t blame Landor at all for doing what he did and if it was me all hell would’ve broken loose on those bts

Solid movie but nothing crazy

a gut wrenching finale with a kind message. if you like mysteries, drama and a quite dark aesthetic, this is for you

Intense mystery thriller which had a killer twist at the end. Carried by its well written story and acted by one of our best actors ever Christian Bale and by no surprise gave a extraordinary performance.

A dark film visually reminding of Burton's work like Sleepy Hollow or Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein. At the same time, there is a plot twist, which I like. So if you like movies with this vibe go ahead and check this movie.
