Average movie. Pretty obvious ending and plot was weak. Tries to be smarter than it is.

Very interesting. A little odd, but it combined math and crime and those are two of my favorite things, so I still enjoyed it. I definitely have feelings about the last scene, and even though I saw it hours ago, I still haven’t quite sorted them out yet. An entertaining mystery.

Interesting but took way too long.

I wish I could’ve liked this. John Hurt is very good and cinematically it works. But many things are under or over explained, some things—especially the romantic moments—come out of nowhere, and Elijah Wood is unfortunately flat and unremarkable. Add an uninteresting mystery and enough dialogue to forget what you’re supposed to be thinking about and you have a terrible disappointment. It avoids a complete dislike because I actually quite like the ending.
