Very well written and executed.
Horror aspect leads the ambient of the story while small yet big clues play as something they are not.
Sad and tragic ending leaves you broken as you had the same view as the leading character.

Pretty good horror film from an era in which horror was 90% flaming rubbish. Directed well and you can tell Del Toro had a hand in the production. Creepy and unsettling, builds tension very well. JA Bayona is rather good at making films seemingly

It’s heavy drama and with its slow pace, it didn’t help anything for my interest. Nice twist and complex story, it’s just not that effective.

I really liked it. The story was so sweet and sad at the same time. I highly recommend people watch it in Spanish (original language) with English subs if you need them. Makes the film that much more impactful

One of the most underrated horror film of all time, del toro is a genius. 10/10

I think it lacks a bit of horror, even though it had the potential to be seriously scary, but the film is still interesting. Some very good scenes, but occasionally a bit slow. The ending is great.
