@ the dad’s house: did Jacob simply forget about leaving her and the dog in the cold car, and how did they not freeze out there sleeping in the car and if the dad knew they were there why didn’t he invite them inside?

I HATE MOVIES THAT DONT SHOW US THE TRUE ENDING!! Flash forward 6 months from the “ending” when they’re both living in New York and she has the job at the UN and MET WITH HER MOTHER???? YOU KNOW?? THE WOMAN THE WHOLE PLOT WAS ABOUT?? and maybe he figured out his next book and is writing it. Give me a happily ever after I don’t want any of this freeze frame on the last moment shit. Lame. I did let a singular tear out when Ellie gave him the painting w the tree in the front yard. Closure for him ig. She didn’t get anything of the sort

I really liked this whole movie story. I started the movie and suddenly it was over, it went by so fast. Romance, life story, past and present, sad moments, simply a very nice movie. 5 stars out of 5😊

Cliched in a bad way. They didn’t feel like real people, just characters from a Hallmark movie but with less emotional expressions.

The Noel Diary is a cozy, "weighted blanket" of a movie. It’s a bit more somber and grounded than your typical flashy holiday rom-com, focusing more on family secrets and healing than just mistletoe and cookies. 7.1/10
