Absolutely BRUTAL but a great revenge story. Haven’t seen much if anything from this time period in Australia so it was new to me as a historical fiction.

Holy shit this was brutal! I can’t remember the last time I was so uncomfortable watching a film! This is definitely not for the faint of heart! The savagery of the 1800s is almost unbelievable! If you’re looking for a crazy revenge story, look no further!

Definitely brought out the worst in me as it was intended, which got me connected to her in a way!

The 1st rape scene was nothing compared to what happens about 10 min later which escalates everything. This was really good.. not my typical choice but character development was fantastic. remember Joffrey in GOT.. you will hate the lieutenant almost, if not as much.

That 15-minute main scene was the only saving grace, but the rest of the film was a disaster with no acting, no writing, and no direction. This could have been so much better.

Trigger warning, the beginning is very intense, but it's a great revenge story.

this is very good. when it started, i didn't expect to like it much, but i really really did. the evolution of billy and clare's relationship was my favorite part. warning to all who watch this movie, there are several very graphic rape scenes. they were hard to watch, be safe!

This movie is very brutal and the end does not redeem it. 20 minutes of the movie are just brutal rape scenes, innocent baby killed and pure abuse towards a woman disguised as a movie
