so apparently i never watched this movie even though i thought i did 💀
i really enjoyed it though! it started off kinda iffy but i proved itself as a worthy sequel to the mummy, with a lot of the same elements but just different enough to add something
i loveee imhotep so much :(

this might be my favorite of the series, brings back so many memories must rewatch…again

Many things fall short due to the typical epic sequel syndrome trying to go bigger than the original. Stalls with each rough digital effect that feels like it takes you out of it, unlike the first that took a more limited approach that overcame it better. Still a fun follow-up.
