I’m not mad, just disappointed. Actually no, I am a little.

Dident play the game but this was insanely bad as someone who knew nothing about the backstory, no explanation, no impactful scenes or story just bouncing from one unexplained scene to the next , only redeeming aspect was that the demon in this series looks great and was creepy.

i mean i guess the mortuary layout was accurate but everything else felt like a cheap dollar store version or an approximation of the game if everything was changed to be slightly worse LMAO
did they even try?

You have to have played the game or at least seen some of the gameplay to just kind of make sense of this movie, even then continuity of the film and the game itself are amiss

First 20min, I was optimistic. Felt like the game. Loved the little details like the ruins and burning paper. Second it hit the 30min mark, I was pissed. Completely turned its back on the lore and did its own horrible story. It had so much potential. Just…damn it!

I’ve seen and played the game before..could’ve been done better. At least have the iconic scenes from the game to the movie.

This film was an absolute snooze fest, and I don’t usually use those words when talking about a film. This film had absolutely no substance to it, and it was just an hour-long movie of someone working at a job. This movie was absolutely boring.

So bad I didn’t get past the first like 30 minutes of it. I’ve seen worse, but this was really bad. 2/10

Haven’t we learned how to make good movies? Why does this keep happening?

this was so ASS😭😭😭 had high expectations because the game is actually really good but the movie maybe got everything wrong

It genuinly sucked, I'm sorry...
The movie was badly directed, a lot of information got skipped. It was very confusing and hard to keep up with in general. The story is rushed, the acting and dialogues are mechanical - not humane at all. Props to the "monster" costume though.

Never played the game so this made no sense. Maybe if it was made better, I could’ve understand. Started off steady then jumped right into it with nothing to lead us up to it. The creature itself was creepy and fucking awesome lol. Aside from him, this was a disappointment.

To preface this, I haven’t played the game.

Some of the weirdest structure and pacing I’ve seen. You’ll have no idea what is going on about 70% of the time.

The only redeeming quality is that the demon actually looked pretty cool.

There are some cool scenes and the demon is legitimately terrifying to look at, but otherwise this is a mess of a movie. Characters do weird things, shots are cut weird, it just seemed like a sloppy job.

74/100 based on a video game - glad they got movie rights. Monster weighed a buck 25 - she could of taken him with a corkscrew
