The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones

This movie is very good idk why people hate it. I loved it. This movie is the reason I decided to buy the books. In my opinion it's way better than the show.

It was ok. I liked the serie better, even though I haven’t finished that one completely yet. The cast was just not it for me, idk it didn’t feel right. 2 out of 5 stars!

books were good when i was younger, i didn’t even know there was a movie? lowkey pretty bad tho

3.5/5 - a solid movie and although it’s not the most accurate in terms of the book (shadowhunters used to be my biggest hyperfixation lol) it’s still more accurate than the show. Great casting, good plot, but just overall felt like it missing something to make it a perfect movie.

Acting can be a bit cringe at times but my god do I enjoy this movie. It’s always so funny to me. It does move a bit fast but I really loved the casting. We never got a sequel which sucked but god I wished we would have gotten clary and Jace from here for the show.
