The Monuments Men Reviews

Throughout human history, from the Ancient Egyptians to Spanish conquests, there has always been a system of “Spoils of War”, where it is perfectly acceptable to loot your enemy. I don’t know why there is this idea that the Nazis “just can’t do that”. Movie is misleading…

Not bad but nothing super super special. Had a few laughs but that’s not typically what you go into a war movie expecting so nothing surprising there. Cast was great, plot was decent (gotta love a true story) but overall just was kinda missing something for me. 8.2/10

Watched shortened “made for tv” version. Another example of star-studded cast delivering a brilliant star-studded performance

6.5/10

Mostly based on a true story

Lowkey boring movie, great story though

6.9/10

passable movie. 6.5/10

Great actors and a unique story, unfortunately not really exciting

Heavily romanticized, so doesn't feel real at all, but more like an adventure movie (alternate Raiders of the Lost Arc 🤣)

I really liked the film. A different perspective on WW2. Great cast, nice story, a Great Watch.

Great movie with a great cast

Raises excellent moral questions

This movie felt so long but it was pretty good

Loved the idea but it was eh

Not so Bad 🧡

I'll be damned!

Honestly just found it boring. Love the actors in it, love the concept and setting, but man it just did not grab me.

Really funny cast and they did really well telling the story. I enjoyed learning about the art during WWII and how much of an importance it was to people on both sides of the war.

4/10
