Grear concept, breathtaking performances, but the ending is a bit strange to be honest, I don’t know what to say about it. Don’t like it. Makes the movie from awesome to just good. Overall it is a great thriller.

I loved this. Dark humor was hilarious (Nicholas Hoult steals the show), social commentary was on point, and it was just the right amount of scary/thrilling. The most fun I’ve had watching a movie in a while.

And it’s now on HBO so you have no excuse to not watch!

Social commentary! I’ve been both the customer and the chef and it’s truly heartbreaking knowing what one does for the other.

Don’t trust anyone who likes this movie

Terrible, lack of plot, shallow themes and a boring “social commentary”. Hardly a horror/thriller.

From a service indrustry perspective, this movie is amazing. It’s over the top but is also a subtly artistic gem. Will Ferrell & Adam McKay are executive producers, so it’s basically a dramatic and dark SNL skit. Would absolutely watch again at a later date.

This is my second time watching and wow...It's a real mental intelligence tester. I've looked at so many reviews and most call it 'shallow' or 'empty'. It's the complete opposite, the depth is so deep that I had chills for the majority of the film. Menu = Religion/Life. Island = Earth. Ralph Fiennes = God. Burger = Ignorance/Freedom. Table = Social class/role. Workers = Believers. Guests = Sins. Meals = Forced Reality/Rules. Mother = Trauma. Each scenario is uncanny to real-life existential situations. It's 100% horror if you focus on the psychology being so intensely performed. I love the score, cast, production and script. The writers are now permanently stuck in my watch list forever.

Bunger

One of my favorites of 2022. Imagine an escape room inside a fancy restaurant on a deserted island. The suspense is so well done in this and it’s perfectly satirical.

I thought it’s gonna be good but turns out I wasted 2 hours of my time for nothing, I gotta say the film’s really weird, interesting and unique but at the end it’s so pointless 😭 (+ point for anya’s acting & the cinematography)

The Menu is a somewhat slow-burn with a great payoff. The dark humor lands almost 100% of the time and the large cast all give great performances. The mystery remains compelling from beginning to end.

I didn’t really like this at all. I thought it was boring and the political tone and theme of the movie was just not resonating with me. I just didn’t like this at all. I won’t watch this again. Boring and pretty bad. Maybe I was just in a bad mood when I watched? Hmm. Idk.

anna taylor joy is so gorgeous

Un thriller élégant et plein d’humour. N’évite malheureusement pas quelques scènes qui sentent parfois le réchauffé et qui ne font pas avancer l’intrigue. Un concept original, un beau casting et une invitation à remettre en question notre rapport à l’art et la perfection.

One of the best movies in the past decade

Literally a waste of time. Wish I had that 2 hours back I spent watching this. Lame.

Undeveloped characters with great potential. I thought the idea of the story was great but definitely needed more background to really appreciate it. Great acting from a good cast. Although, I wouldn’t give it another watch unfortunately.

A delicious film served rare
