You guys...I'm starting to think this isn't a good series.

The Matrix Revolutions
An absolute dogshit ending to a mid trilogy. This movie had no plot and the big finale was neo and smith flying around like superman punching each other in the face. This one was not good and the worst of the three, despite me not liking 1 or 2 either

Finally completed this trilogy. Curious to see where it goes with the new movie!

This one was nowhere near as good as the other 2 honestly. They dragged out the Zion battle for too long shit was 3/4 of the movie. However, the ending scene with smith and neo is so dank it saved the movie. Would only watch this if u know what’s going on in the trilogy.

infelizmente termina com uma compreensão bem reacionária da natureza humana

The amount of love between each person and for their home is so emotionally striking, I had to pause the movie midway cuz I was getting the feels. I love this franchise and I love everything to do with living in simulations

Just as much as the last entry was a pice of story, this one is a fragment, telling so little of the yarn that it’s the least complex and most inessential of the series, save for the fact that it finally wraps up characters loose ends.

Compared to the original, Matrix Revolutions isn’t nearly as rich with action and bloated with CGI. The trilogy began as something new and original, but by the end it became a predictable finale. Narratively a letdown.

You know what, this was actually a lot better than I remember it being.
Sure it falters, particularly in that extended opening, which feels, and ultimately proves to be, pointless. A lot of the events happening likely due to the back-to-back shoots from the 2nd and this one - but man does it feel odd. I actually enjoyed the real-world stuff in this film, it was the weakest element of the second and feared the same would carry across, alas not - which is a good thing as 85% of this takes place there!
Hugo Weaving is actually a menace in this one, he gets to go full cartoon villain and absolutely kills it, particularly in the finale, but frankly whenever we have the privilege of seeing him rock up. Carrie-Anne Moss again, great. Very strange to see Fishburne sidelined in this one…
All timer climax to this one, very excited to watch Resurrections, I remember very little about it, despite being the newest one - I hope I enjoy it as much as the rest!

I kept pushing this movie for later for so long, but the ending of this one was greater than I expected. even if the world has gotten a little bore-ish after all that happened.
