The Matrix Resurrections Reviews

Weirdly meta and surprisingly funny. About 30-45 min too long but still enjoyable. Recommend going to the theater, I would’ve been bored on the couch

Written and directed by literally any Boomer who just got on Reddit for the 1st time

This movie takes the original movies and shit all over it. There are many problems both subjectively as a movie and as a fan of the original matrix’s it makes me want to vomit. If you want to watch 2 1/2 hours of a Solis cash grab this is the movie for you.2.3/10

0/10 is an understatement for this terrible movie.

A movie that is in direct conversation with itself and what came before, and while the routes it takes to get there are sledgehammer blunt at times, the points it raises are wild. It honors the legacy, but it feels more mature and lived-in.

I have no words. Did I love seeing Neo and Trinity together? Yes. Was this movie what I thought it would be? Straight garbage.

Ngl kind of confused?

It has a great story and good actors.

Havde ik brug for en ny

Symbolism throughout. I really loved it

The true climax of the series, filling plot holes, tying loose ends, while conveniently opening new ones. But it does so in a satisfying way, one that will let you move on from the matrix story, and feeling its arc has fully completed. Worth watching twice. Or thrice.

Never as good as the first but great to be having a new matrix movie to watch

Mehhh

The Matrix Regurgitates the original but without the flair and thought provoking story of the first three films

Plot a bit convoluted but nothing line an old classic brought back

Veery very strange. I had no idea what was going on. Fun watch though and agree with @garrett - def watch in theaters

Was definitely better on the second watch

unnecessary felt like a cashgrab then a movie 8.2/10

were they purposefully trying to ruin the earlier movies? nobody asked for this

nah
